About Ms. L

My name is Jessica Laferriere, and I am the researcher and writer of this blog. I am a Kindergarten teacher in a rural school in Kalispell, MT and a Master's student with Western State Colorado University. This will be my second year of teaching Kindergarten and my fourth year of teaching in the early elementary years. I am interested in minimizing disruptions and improving learning in my classroom through the application of engagement strategies, especially those that incorporate physical movement. Outside of the classroom, I enjoy hiking, skiing, reading, and cooking.
